The food and other prices in Slovakia are the same as in the west, some food is more expensive than in Germany. And also of very low quality, because western european countries export to Slovakia, what they cant sell in their countries.
Sallaries(all is nett income), all is amount earned in month:
Teacher: 300e.
Worker in Wolkswagen, Kia: 500e.
Beginning doctor: 450e.
Doctor with 5 year specialisation: 1000e.
Politician: 2500e.
Judge: 2500e.
Cleaner: 300e.
Worker on construction site: 1000e.
This is Slovak average, in Bratislava it is about 30% higher sallary, but much higher prices. In eastern Slovakia it is less about 30%(very hard to survive with that amount of money....).
